Iain Masterton is a Scottish freelance photographer and writer.
He lived in Hong Kong and China for a total of 10 years and has studied Chinese language in Beijing.
He has also been based in Tokyo, Sakhalin Island in Russia, Sweden, The Netherlands and Germany.
His book "To the Hutongs" , a black and white study of the old alleyways in Beijing is available to buy at amazon.co.uk and in bookshops in Asia.
He is a Chartered Civil Engineer.
His images have been published in many publications worldwide, including;
