Violence at pro-democracy demonstration in Hong Kong

Hong Kong. 1 October 2019. After a peaceful march through Hong Kong Island by an estimated 100,000 pro democracy supporters, violent flared up at Tamar, Admiralty and moved through Wanchai district. Police used teargas and baton rounds and water cannon. Hard core group lit fires, threw bricks and Molotov cocktails at police. Violence continues into evening.
