Scottish Youth Climate Strike in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK

Scottish Youth Climate Strike by schoolchildren in central Edinburgh. Students took a day off school to meet in The Meadows park before marching along the Royal Mile to a protest held outside the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood. The protest is to coincide with the second global school strike for climate - along with over 1500 locations around the world. The strikes were started in August 2018 by the Swedish schoolgirl Greta Thunberg and have since been mirrored across the world.
