Landing fresh seafood catch at Pittenweem, Fife, Scotland, UK
Pittenweem, Scotland, UK. 15 January 2020. Fresh shellfish, crab and lobster landed this morning at Pittenweem harbour in Fife. Fisherman Nick Irvine has two boats that catches shellfish, shrimp, velvet crab, brown crab and lobster. Much of his catch is exported to Asia and is busy at this time of the year because of upcoming Chinese New Year which increases demand and prices.
