UK Weather. Police make arrests at Portobello Beach, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK
Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. 31 July, 2020. Temperature of 25C and sunshine brought huge crowds to Portobello Beach outside Edinburgh. Several large groups of teenagers were enjoying beach and alcoholic drinks were very popular. Pictured; At approx 3pm trouble broke out between young people on the the beach and police. Police reinforcements were quickly on scene and several people were apprehended. Westbank Street was closed to traffic and approx 30 police are patrolling the promenade. Police are confiscating alcohol from the teenagers remaining got the beach. Iain Masterton/Alamy Live News
