Val McDermid launches Message from the Skies for Edinburgh’s Hogmanay

The project features projections onto many of the city’s landmarks, following chapter by chapter a new story written by Val McDermid called New Year’s Resurrection, commissioned by Edinburgh’s Hogmanay and Edinburgh International Book Festival. The author poses beside three local young writers, Lucy Hutcheon(11) (C), Maisie Dalton(12)(L) and Jemma Glover(16) (R)who won a short story writing competition to have their work projected alongside Val’s as part of the project
