Former BiFab Methil fabrication yard reopening, Methil, Scotland, UK
Methil, Scotland, UK. 16 April 2021. A Methil fabrication yard in Fife is to reopen after securing a contract to fabricate eight platforms for wind turbines. The yard was previously operated by BiFab but was taken over in February by a London firm InfraStrata, operating under the Harland and Wolff brand. The contract is for the Nearth na Gaoithe Offshore Wind (NnG) project and is expected to create almost 300 jobs. Pic; general view of Harland & Wolff fabrication yard in Methil.
